Our monastery beer is world class |

That was not only determined by the jury of the World Cup in San Diego – many thousands of visitors to our beer garden feel the same. The beer comes directly via pipeline from the cellar of the brewery to the tap. It tastes heavenly good.
The monastery brewery is the oldest still existing brewery in the world. With ist modern equipment the brewery is not only a technical jewel – but, with ist Jurassic spring water and an ancient brewing recipe following the Benedictine tradition – these elements, combined in a perfect production process, emphasize the outstanding quality of our beer.  
For more than 40 years the production of our Weltenburger monastery beer has Historical lecturs with the Weltenburger Academy been in the hands of our master brewer Fritz Schweiger. Thanks to him we have maintained a constant high level of quality.  
Now and then Hermann Goss, Director of the brewery, tastes Our Asambock in the ripening cellar. Only properly aged beer Shall be served from our taps.
